JOINT APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING COMMITTEE

PURPOSE

The Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) oversees the Access Bio Apprenticeship Program's standards, curriculum, and apprentice progress to build a skilled workforce for the bioscience and biomanufacturing industries.

The JATC engages in various activities to ensure the success of the apprenticeship program. These include developing and revising training standards, advising on curriculum, reviewing apprentice progress, addressing complaints, and ensuring equal opportunity compliance. The committee also approves apprenticeship agreements, manages training agents, and determines wages. Meetings are held quarterly and occasionally by email to address program needs and ensure timely action.
