Oregon Bio Events Overview
Below are brief descriptions of our typical events for each category.
- Annual Conference: Expanded program builds on previous Biotech Summits to include panel sessions, keynote speakers, the Innovation Showcase Pitch Competition, poster sessions, and more.
- Bio on Series (Bio on Tap, Bio in the High Desert, Bio in the Valley, Bio on the Vine, Bio on the Rocks, Bio in the ‘Couv): This popular regional evening series has remained a favorite for over 15 years. Each event features a short program, with most of the time dedicated to networking.
- BIPOC in Bioscience: Regional series is dedicated to connecting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and their allies within the industry. These events, which can include panel sessions and networking, serve to build solid and meaningful work and personal relationships and foster community support.
- Oregon Bio Membership Lunch & Learn: Exclusive gatherings for Oregon Bio Members focused on member benefits and opportunities.
- Oregon Bio Women Meet-up: Casual, regional, hour-long gatherings for women in the bioscience industry, focused on connection and networking.
- Oregon Bio Women CONNECT: This annual event features speakers and activities centered around a specific theme for women in bioscience, as well as networking opportunities.
- Oregon Bio Women Workshop: Educational sessions offer essential career advancement strategies for women in bioscience.
- Oregon Pavilion:This dedicated exhibition space showcases Oregon and SW Washington bioscience concerns at the BIO International Convention. Our pavilion partners connect through BIO’s exclusive One-on-One Partnering™ system and engage in multiple meetings with professionals from the global bioscience community during the show
