Oregon Bio Women (OBW) Mentorship Program
The mission of the Oregon Bio Women (OBW) Mentorship Program is to accelerate the professional development and growth of women in the Oregon bioscience community.
Seeking to volunteer as a mentor? Or, are you at a point where you are seeking a mentor to support your professional or educational efforts in bioscience. Our mission is to pair dedicated mentors with mentees.

Become an OBW Mentor
Show your active support for women working in Oregon's bioscience community by volunteering as a mentor. A modest commitment as an OBW mentor can make a positive impact that lasts a lifetime.
Program Highlights and Expectations
Meet for a minimum of one hour per month for 8-9 months (remote or in-person)
Maintain communication between meetings as needed
Enagage with our support team for guidance
Eligibility Requirements
People identifying as women, employed in bioscience, and currently an Oregon Bioscience Association Member.* Relevant expertise and knowledge matching the needs of the mentee are also required.

Why Join as a Mentee?
Our program provides mentees with dedicated, independent mentorship support. OBW mentors are ready to support your educational or professional efforts based on your own personal aspirations.
Program Highlights and Expectations
Meet for a minimum of one hour per month for six months
Meetings can be remote or in-person
Maintain regular communication with mentors between meetings
A support team will help facilitate your effort
