  • 1,480 private bioscience establishments directly generated $7.6 billion in output  
  • 16,820 workers in private bioscience earned $1.5 billion in wages  
  • Over $1.8 billion in total income for private bioscience employees, including payroll taxes and benefits  
  • $1.4 billion in other income generated from profits, royalties, rents, and dividends
