April OBW Mentorship Collaborative: Managing Burnout with Essentialism
Oregon Bio Women (OBW) hosts a monthly Mentorship Collaborative
Event Details
OBW hosts a monthly Mentorship Collaborative where mentors and mentees come together to find support, ask questions, generate solutions, and grow in their professional development. Each session focuses on real challenges in mentorship, offering engagement, education, and action to help participants apply valuable insights to their careers and mentorship relationships.
April’s Topic: Burnout & Essentialism
Burnout is a common challenge—especially for high achievers balancing mentorship, leadership, and career demands. In this session, Jackie Wirz will introduce the essentialism approach, a framework for cutting through the noise, prioritizing what truly matters, and creating sustainable habits to protect your energy and well-being.
We’ll also break into small groups to share personal stories of self-care and resilience, exchanging practical strategies to stay engaged while avoiding burnout.
