BioPro Workforce Training Advisory Committee

Purpose

Oregon Bio works with a formal committee of human resources and quality management experts from member companies to guide the selection of courses and instructors most valuable to industry and workforce development needs. Committee members have included representatives from Acumed, Aerotek, APDM, Biotronik/MSEI, Genentech, Montgomery Strategic, Lumencor, Molecular MD, Pacific Light Technology, Pulse Health, SolarWorld, TE Connectivity, Thermo Fisher, RevMedx, and Vanguard EMS.

The Advisory Committee’s role is to collaborate with Oregon Bio in developing, monitoring, and promoting the BioPro Workforce Training Program by:

  • Developing training curricula, including new courses and certificates

  • Evaluating potential instructors and courses

  • Reviewing class evaluations and recommending adjustments or growth strategies

  • Assessing workforce training needs both within their companies and in the broader industry

  • Promoting workforce training opportunities in their companies and across the industry

  • Addressing program needs, such as new evaluation tools or strategies

  • Fostering instructor relationships and cohesion through workshops
