Shelly Ridder Joins Oregon Bio Team

Shelly Ridder headshot

Shelly Ridder has joined the Oregon Bio team as our Community Engagement and Workforce Manager. She first worked with the Oregon Bioscience Association in 2016 as a BioPro instructor for Fundamentals in Project Management and Cross-Culture Communication.

Shelly holds a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and a certificate in Change Management, Project Management, and Global Competency. She worked for twenty years in higher education at six different universities in the U.S., Japan, and Turkey as an ESL instructor and program manager. She’s also lived at length in Germany, Mexico, and India. Shelly enjoys exploring, hiking, hot yoga, and live music. Shelly is passionate about fostering inclusive cultures.

Oregon Bio is committed to supporting workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion within our industry by partnering with community organizations serving women, communities of color, low-income and first-generation graduates.
