The BioPro Medical Device Foundations Passport is a comprehensive 80-hour training series. With a formal steering committee of human resources representatives and industry experts, Oregon Bio selects courses and instructors that will have the most value to industry and their workforce development needs. From business topics including Project Management and Managing Multiple Projects to technical topics including Design of Experiments, this series is built to train current and future medical device professionals.

Training Dates – online and in-person:

  • July 10 (in-person): 8 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. – Overview of FDA Requirements for Regulated Industries
  • July 10 (in-person): 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. – Quality Systems Overview, Implementation and Improvement
  • July 11 (in-person): 8 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. – Preparing for Inspections in a Regulated Industry (optional)
  • August 5-8 (online): 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Project Management Fundamentals
  • September 10-11 (online): 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Managing Multiple Projects
  • October 7-8 (in-person): 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Statistical Process Control
  • October 22 (in-person): 8:30-5:00 – Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Manufacturing and Process “P-FMEA”
  • Date TBD  (online): 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Design of Experiments
