Go behind the scenes with Oregon’s federally designated Corvallis Microfluidics (CorMic) Tech Hub. Join us May 21 as Bio in the Valley ventures to the HP Campus for an evening of engaging and insightful programming. We’ll explore the potential of microfluidics, a cutting-edge industry poised for explosive growth — anticipated to reach nearly $120 billion by 2031 (up from $20 billion in 2022)*.
Across Oregon’s thriving research ecosystem, “open source” microfluidics is primed to nurture life science innovations that drive economic growth — accelerating the commercialization of products like cellular analysis tools, miniaturized molecular assay kits, precision-fabricated artificial organs, point-of-care diagnostics, and drug-delivery systems. Access to open-source microfluidics will enable Oregon’s innovators to bring these technologies and many others to market with the foundation of the world’s large microfluidic manufacturer.
With microfluidics, where a fluid unit one-fifth the size of a human cell can be channeled or mixed with precision and minimum turbulence, thinking big is thinking small.
Even if your company isn’t using microfluidics today, the infrastructure being developed for CorMic could enable you to accelerate your development and scale of new customer solutions.
