Portland startup group gets new officer as bioscience and tech efforts increase

The Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute has filled a key position.

OTRADI announced that Sarah Biber will serve as operations and programs officer for the non-profit, state sponsored group. In the post, Biber will be responsible for the OTRADI Bioscience Incubator’s client relations.

She’ll also develop and expand outreach programs for startup bioscience entrepreneurs.

She’ll work with OBI Entrepreneurs-in-Residence William Newman and Gordon Hoffman to expand and promote OBI BioMentoring program, as well as developing other outreach efforts.

The bioscience incubator offers space to 14 startups.

Biber has worked with Oregon Health & Science University’s Technology Transfer and Business Development department.
