Bio on Tap 2009

In an effort to keep our members "Connected" and abreast of each others activities and opportunities which relate to their success, we produce professional networking events. Two such events are  Bio on Tap, in the spring and Bio on the Vine in the fall. These valuable networking events provide a supportive environment in which the bio-community can get together in a relaxed informal setting over a beer or a glass of wine to share their synergies or just get to know each other.

Bio-professionals at all levels attend and learn from their peers about Oregon’s bioscience community and how we fit into a global bio-network.

This summer's Bio on Tap evening of networking, libations, and a brewery tour will be held at the Bridgeport Brewpub and Bakery located in the Pearl, July 23rd from 6 to 9pm in the Heritage room. 

The first Bio on Tap was held in 2008 and sold out with over 110 attendees. Many commented on how effective the venue was for combining quality beer and wine with the friendly people in our industry.
